The Solution

ModernNest’s aim is to shelter 1 million people over the next five years in safe, comfortable, responsible living dwelling units, so they can gain dignity, control of their lives and become contributing, successful members of their community.

A Call to Action

The challenge we face as the leaders, architects, builders, businessmen and businesswomen of this world is understanding the first basic human need of shelter… more specifically… affordable shelter.

It is time for the amazing men and women of the world to step up and lean into this ongoing global crisis with us.  You can contribute in any way possible…

  • Your Time

  • Your Talents

  • Your Treasures

…Whatever it may be so that we can provide a responsible solution to affordable housing for the homeless in your community and around the globe.

If this has been on your heart or you know of someone who is being affected, let’s do something about it now.  Let’s not be paralyzed by fear, but overcome this challenge with hard work and perseverance.

There is a story of a child on the beach..

who came across thousands of starfish stranded in the sand hopelessly struggling for their existence.  The child started to throw the starfish back into the ocean one at a time.  An old man approached her and said, "What are you doing? There are thousands and thousands of these here!  You can't possibly make a difference!  The child reached down and picked up a starfish and threw it into the ocean.  She looked up at the old man and said, “Well, it made a difference to that one!”

The way we can make a difference is by helping one homeless person at a time. Help us find shelter for just one, and then another, and then another.  In time we will look back and see that we have changed the lives of many.

  • One-fifth of people experiencing homelessness on a single night in 2018 were children (20%
or 111,592), 71 percent were over the age of 24, and nine percent were between the ages of 18 and 24.

  • Children experiencing homelessness were rarely unsheltered. Nine in ten children were staying in sheltered locations. Children comprised only five percent of all people in unsheltered locations.

  • Men were more likely to be unsheltered than women. Nearly 7 in 10 people experiencing unsheltered homelessness were men or boys.

Investing in the Future.

As a logistical management company with strategic partnerships, we project a significant demand in the need for affordable, modular housing.

Utilizing the steel structure of shipping containers along with their ease of mobility and existing global transportation systems, we can provide a modern nest to families in need throughout the world.

Based on conservative estimates, we believe that we can house 1 million people over the next five years.

Our goal is that with increased production, reduced overhead costs, beneficial partnerships and community involvement, we can meet this challenge and exceed everyone’s expectations.

To meet this monumental goal, we will need your help!
